Day 17: LEH LADAKH!!!

This place was just unbelievable. I would have never thought that I would get to see something so pretty and breathtaking. Every moment, every mountain was just breathtaking and I can't believe I got to experience it. The first day we stayed in leh and were advised to stay inside to adjust to the altitude. It didn't really take much time to adjust and since we felt fine we went to the market in the evening. The food was amazing. We went from restaurant to restaurant trying different foods. The next day we visited a couple tourist spots and went rafting. We visited the hall of fame where we read about all the wars and Ladakh's history. Rafting was unbelievably fun. The water was chilling and I actually fell inside during rafting. we also went to zero point which was at 18000 feet and it was snowing there in july. On the third day we visited the Nubra valley where we stayed in an amazing cottage and went ATV driving and camel riding. Due to a landslide we had to detour our route to Pangong. We were in the car for more than 8 hours but the destination was worth it. We stayed in tents and when all the lights went out we went outside to see the sky. And it was unreal. I had never seen anything like it. All the stars and constellations were so beautiful and I can't believe I got to experience this. Even the camera couldn't capture its beauty. Next morning we visited the iconic 3 idiots lake and took so many pictures. We then went back to leh and shopped for the day, had great food and came back. We left for Delhi the next morning. Every moment in Leh was so picturesque and spectacular.
